About the National LATINA Symposium
Every year LATINA Style proudly honors Latinas serving in the Armed Forces in Washington D.C.
Launched in 2004, the National LATINA Symposium brings together the largest gathering of Latina military leaders in the nation. The Symposium ascertains through round-table and panel discussions, in-depth surveys and commentaries and the status of the Latina working woman in the United States. Among the issues discussed are career development, business opportunities, family issues, health and wellness, cultural sensitivity, political, civic responsibility, and military career.
The National LATINA Symposium is a one-day event that convenes Latinas from coast to coast to address the most pressing issues affecting their lives. The highlight of the National LATINA Symposium is the Distinguished Military Service Awards Luncheon honoring Latinas serving in the Armed Forces. Two other notable recognitions that are given at the National LATINA Symposium are the Corporate Veteran ERG of the Year and the Veteran of the Year Award.
